Richard Wolfe

Richard is based in AEA’s Melbourne office and has over 30 years’ experience in environmental engineering consulting. Richard is appointed as an Environmental Auditor (Contaminated Land) in Victoria and as a Contaminated Sites Auditor in South Australia by the respective State EPAs. He has undertaken statutory and non-statutory contaminated land audits in Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales for more than 15 years. He has served as Technical Advisor to the Department of Defence regarding the assessment and management of contaminated land and groundwater as well as reviewing environmental procedures at Defence facilities across Australia. Richard has expertise in the areas of contaminant fate and transport modelling, human health risk assessment and the evaluation of remediation technologies for soil and groundwater clean-up. He undertook study tours to the United States in 1994 and the Netherlands in 1989 to assess technologies for the clean-up of organic contaminants, including fuels and PAHs, in soils and groundwater.
