Nick Owen

BSc (Geology) Post Graduate Diploma Terrain Evaluation/Analyst, Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP)

Based in Melbourne, Nick is a Contaminated Land/Sites Auditor, and geologist with more than 32 years’ experience in the environmental industry. Nick is appointed as an Environmental Auditor in Victoria (since 2003) and Western Australia (since 2008).

He has worked in military (soil and terrain evaluation), mining, environmental consulting and environmental auditing within Australia and overseas.

His time overseas included hydrogeology assessments, water wellfield development, and rural water supply schemes for remote communities throughout Southern Africa.  Nick has a wealth of experience in hydrogeology, soil mapping, and the assessment of contamination related issues.

Nick enjoys remote high altitude trekking in Nepal and Africa with his wife.  He also has been part of Melbourne Oxfam Trailwalker (100 km event) for several years.
